Outside of mathematics, I enjoy spending time with animals and spending time outside.
Math + Art things I like:
- I am a big fan of Corrine Yap’s play Corrine Yap’s play Uniform Convergence.
- We (Alice Lin, Jenny Kaufmann, myself and others) had Corrine come and perform it as a part of a seminar we were doing for undergrads at Princeton math department and it was a really great event both from an artistic standpoint and as a way to open up discussion about discrimination in mathematics. I also really enjoyed seeing a play about being a mathematician that felt accurate (in addition to having a degree in theatre, Corrine is a PhD student at Rutgers University mathematics department).
- Jonathan Zung organized math students to paint murals in the stairwells of the math department at Princeton.
